Re: The Marty McFly Investor...

Kato have you been using one of the seasonal strategies? I was out of town until late yesterday so sorry for the late response. I am now following a seasonal investment but I didn't start until mid summer last year. I am following Jahbulon's basic seasonal mix until the end of this year and see how...

The Marty McFly Investor...

Disclaimer: This is just for fun and FYI only. Now with that out of the way, I was doing my yearly calculations on investment profit and losses when I came up with a few of questions. 1. If I could travel back in time like Marty McFly did (and Bif who became rich before the past was corrected in the...

Oh, Here we go again.. Now its some else's turn to poke that pig... I've had my fun already.. Hey, I'm not trying to poke any pigs, just commenting on an observation. Since I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to, and I'm not sure I want to, so let's all just put the knifes, stones, tar and f...

Re: You know it's sad when...

Hey everyone, I was just noticing the G fund is the top performing fund for the year as of today and that made me a little sad. If the S and C fund don't end up rallying, the G fund could end up being the best fund for 2015. You know, that just scared me a little. Why? 2011 the G fund beat the C an...

Would you really give someone access to your TSP account?

I didn't think about that but guess they would have to have access to do it wouldn't they?

No, I wouldn't to answer your question.

Re: TSP Safety Net

Has anyone used the TSP Safety Net program and, if so, did they find it beneficial and worth the fee? I doubt anyone who understood what they do would think it was worth the fee. This is from fedsmith.com. "TSP Safety Net TSP Safety Net allocates your investments based on a trend analysis, com...

Re: Petition for Opting Out of Social Security

Social security is "welfare for the old". It was started to get old people to stop working so younger people could have their jobs. Opting out of social security is like trying to opt out of welfare. Since I never will need it then it doesn't make sense to pay into it. Big government won'...

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/provide-lifetime-identity-protection-federal-employees-who-were-victimized-breach-opm I agree with the life time of credit monitoring. I mean come one, first it was eighteen months, and now I believe it is for three years. So if I think about this, 21 milli...

Re: Hello

I got a question. It has been brought to my attention that federal reserve employees can't make a move to the G-fund even if it's the 3rd IFT of the month. Is this true? And hello, Spitfire. I have heard you can always go back to the G fund regardless of how many transfers you've completed that mon...
