Re: Federal Employee News

We're all biased. You displayed a bias. I called you on it. Calling you biased is like pointing out you're human. I call myself out on my bias all the time. Calling someone nuts and socialist was meant to derogatory.[/quote] You left out the "stick your head in the sand" part. You don't ev...

Re: Federal Employee News

Arries and cswift are nuts. Definitely socialists. Calling it like they talk. Always the same nonsense. Republicans bad. Dems awesome. You know what else is nonsense? Name calling. Arries and cswift are not nuts and even if they are socialists, which they're probably not, what's that got to do with...

Re: Federal Employee News

Wow, you set me straight didn't you. My comment must have really hurt your sensitive feelings. BTW, My biased reading has not found a single piece of actual legislation proposing any of this. Speculate, project, and worry about things that may or may not become reality all want. Ask yourself.... wh...

Re: Federal Employee News

For obvious reasons, I don't put a lot of value on anything the Washington Post publishes. You can stick your head in the sand if you want. It doesn't change that headline is 100% accurate. I'll break down the headline and summarize the article for you since you refuse to verify the article's accur...

Re: Tax cut vs seasonal thoughts

After reading more and more there are two common trends the 'experts' are talking about. 1. Small Caps (S fund) will get a huge boost due to the corporate tax cut down to 21%. = market goes up 2. Investors are holding now and going to sell after the new year to take advantage of the lower tax bracke...

Tax cut vs seasonal thoughts

Here is a thought I'm pondering.... the new tax plan cuts corporate tax so that is supposed to be good for the markets. I've read the posts about buy the rumor sell the news, the cuts are already priced into the market, blah blah... However, what is Jan going to be like? Most monthly strategies go F...

Re: TSP modernization act

That’s a good question Mrsnrub...what are they up to with trying to keep people in TSP? Is TSP insolvent? Have the politicians been robbing from our funds without us knowing it like they did with Social Security for so long? Or are they planning on taxing our TSP funds at withdrawal at a higher rat...
