Re: Retirement plan Help!
Yes, I'm sort of waiting for that too, so around 60 to 70% of my cash is sidelined in a money market fund and some in BOXX (awesome fund by the way!). While I'm missing out on the 20% gains, I do enjoy looking at the "sure" thing of 5% or more until that does happen. I saw a thing recentl...

Re: TSPCalc
Yes, I was looking for the highest mean for 2023, but I don't understand why it's reporting 92443 has the highest mean when 173584 is higher (4.13%). https://i.postimg.cc/3rtDnMyp/2023-01-10-12-03-22.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/CLW5QwwZ/2023-01-10-12-03-58.jpg https://tspcalc.com/seasonal.php?years=23-...

TSPCalc
I was checking out Tspcalc and did a search for the highest mean of 2023. It reported strategy 92443 with the highest mean of 4.00%. I then checked the mean of strategy 173584 and it reported 4.13%. Am I missing something? https://tspcalc.com/seasonal.php?years=23-23&sortdir=desc&sortby=avg ...

Re: For TLT or Options Traders, does this strategy make sens
YTD return of TLT as of 3/31/2020 is 22%. Definitely deflation. Harry Browned recommended as part of the Permanent Portfolio, which has saved me from this crash.

Submitted IFT not able to be changed on a holiday after noon
If an IFT is made before 12:15 on a holiday, it can't be changed after 12:15 in the FantasyTSP like it can on the tsp.gov website? TSP.gov lets one initiate/change an IFT until noon on the day after the holiday. Am I correct?

Matters to me too. I'm with TSP Jedi.
Plus, why does it matter whether one wants to pair their fantasy account with their real account?

My fantasy account is missing the 2018 YTD returns. Is anyone else's like this?
My balance includes 2018 numbers.

TspGuru (position 10) is 100% F. Tommie I took a look at the Leader Board. Did you know the first gamer 100% something other than the G Fund is number 187? And the dramatic drop off in percentile ytd gain is astonishing. What does this mean for seasonal calc investors? Have all their TSP contributio...

Re: Choosing between a Roth vs. Traditional TSP / IRA
I max out my Regular TSP ($18,500) and Catchup ($6,000). All mine goes into Traditional since it reduces my state tax burden while I'm working in Maryland. I will not make any withdrawals until I get settled in my retirement state of Florida which does not have a state income tax. This week I will ...

Re: Wahoo! Daily Seasonal is rockin’! Don’t call it a comeba
Veterans Day was a trading day I believe. Just not a TSP day. Both days were combined for the returns on the 13th. From what I can tell, the price was based on November 13 and not a combination of the two unless the closing price for Nov. 13 was calculated to include Nov. 12's closing price? From T...

Re: Retired and taking TSP monthly withdrawl
You could fill out a 1040 as if it's the end of the year. I usually input the numbers into TurboTax for the upcoming year to try to estimate as close as possible. I then adjust the withholding to match whatever amount of taxes I anticipate I'll owe for that year.
