Re: Just Like clockwork...

For all those Day Trader’s out there, a TRIPLE BOUNCE off 5,214 & three (3) associated Long Upper Shadow Candlesticks, “invariably” (& I use that word loosely) will depict a correction in Upward Momentum… Best of Luck (everyone) in all you choose to endeavor!!! Don't forget that we can use ...

Re: Million Dollar TSP!

If I keep squirreling money, eventually someone else is going to end up with a huge wad that I spent my entire working life squirreling. I have no problem passing on what's left of my wealth after I croak to my heirs--as long as they put it to good use. In a way, this would be my legacy. The gift o...

Re: Arrived

Thanks to all that responded. This is an interesting idea and quite a bit different than REITs. Apparently the market is even larger than I realized. Some say Fundrise is better because it's cheaper (after reviewing more about Arrived...I did realize they are expensive). Some ideas here https://www....

Arrived

Has anyone here ever used this system? I'm curious to people's experiences.

I would think the stock market is better because stocks appreciate (of which you don't pay taxes), but some people love the income from real estate.

Re: What's this?

Sounds like a bull signal to me  Perhaps? I'm not sure it would be such a signal though. I take it as the Feds (implying) that there's a real issue with our banks. I happened upon this information, this morning: The Fed buyback seems like a bull signal to me because, while it infers a major b...

Re: testing the Ls

I don't know of anybody that has. I played around with the idea a bit when they first came out, but I didn't for several reasons. 1 - There weren't any historical datapoints I could pull from. It would take a long time for the dataset to populate. Doing so now would take a lot of work, and I haven'...

testing the Ls

I'm just curious if anyone's been testing using an L instead of the G or F (which months, which type, etc.). Particularly I'm interested in the Linc and the L2060 or L2065. Others ok too. The point is that they might be interesting alternatives instead of using the G or F funds.

Re: What's this?

I just saw this on Twitter in regards to this question. I think it explains a bit more about what's going on and also sides with the idea that this should help banks. https://twitter.com/martypartymusic/status/1785681525746663925 Also, this is some interesting info: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/wh...

Re: Supertrend

This looks like a lagging indicator to me, but I don't know much about technical That was my thought too...but I tend to lean on others for the technical components. Technical indicators of trend seem to be based on existing data. Are the there any truly leading indicators? Excellent point. I think...

Re: If I could do it all over again…

Definitely max contributions into C and then forgot about it until retirement. But if TSPcenter and TSPcalc had been around back then........ I'd probably be a multi millionaire. Yeah, TSPCenter was around...I was just too busy with other things. Thankfully I have a couple of decades left, but if I...

Re: Thoughts?

I think that a lot of the heartache people have with government isn't the people working in the civil service (for the most part), it's the bureaucracy, regulations, and oversight that they don't like. Sure, there are bad apples and politically-driven decision makers at the top, and those are bad e...
