Re: The Best New TSP Investing Recommendations
HOUSTON we have a problem. His data mined system don't comply to the two interfund transfers. What a shame back to the drawing board. FOr what it's worth a good friend of mine has a system that beats everything with plus 1000% return in 2008 to 2012. Has tons and tons of rules and calibrated and rec...

Re: The Best New TSP Investing Recommendations
By any chance can you post your returns for the last 1, 3, 5, and 10 years? Aarvizo it don't matter 95% of trader heads fail. He maybe the exception to the rule or the 5% but you know what the statistics will soon catch him. Lucky 2 3 5 years is very very probable but non sustainable in the future ...

Re: 02/11/2013 - S Fund Analysis
1. tspnoob: Please note the poor return of Ebb's investment strategy this year. I do not recommend his program at this time as he has taken on a very longterm investment approach and is missing the peaks and valley opportunities to increase your account balance. Also the problem with declaring anyo...

Re: 02/11/2013 - S Fund Analysis
Skiehawk you doing a disservice when you say you can't time tops and bottoms in the long term. Haven't you listened and gone to the ebbs ebbchart primer on the other talk website. Heck the ebbs triples pattern called them tops and bottoms on spot. You subscribe to him do it pronto. You wanna know w...

Re: Staying with or Beating the Market
Interesting numbers-- I am also one of the 95% that didn't outperform the S fund and am now thinking the same thoughts--its a losing game to try and time the market,,,however I am very interested in the seasonal strategy--if you look at the numbers on this site under the TSP Calculators for the sea...

Re: Compare Your Performance to the Best in the Biz
Maybe I am looking at the wrong returns, but I saw Ebb has returned 12% this year. Additionally, his different patterns seem to be member only? So I can't verify the returns. Cron or tspnoob, can you clarify where you see these returns? Skiehawk11 Ebb was 12% on the end of the month of November but...

Re: Compare Your Performance to the Best in the Biz
Jahb, did you notice that EBB is up 15% for the year using a fairly passive system? Cron I am with you on that. Ebbs triples pattern is beating S&P this year but he can't say he did up a lil less than 16%. His triples are up 170% in six years going from year 2007. Glad I found it wish I found i...

Re: Professional TSP Advisory
Those numbers are also nearly a month behind the current date. You'd have to wait until the first week of December to ascertain a current return. One of them is more than 2% LOWER than what is currently posted. In any case, 12% is a very attainable goal. Just so happens to be the goal I shoot for a...

Re: Is there a point to trading?
This is simply food for thought. Over time are you confident you can beat the given fund returns? SIG is on my watch list. Yes for over time, so far I did better than S fund since 2008 based on my real account 2008 10% 2009 57% 2010 25% 2011 -5% 2012 YTD +25% (I use Winner and SWAVET - Southwest As...

Re: Is there a point to trading?
I disagree totally. Some people do great in bull markets. But how did they do in 2008-09 with the big crash??? You dont know. Its easy to just put your money in S and leave it alone and make money in bull markets But does this mean you will be on top after 10 years and after the market crashes a co...

Skie,
Do the brokers charge interest on margin accounts. You must maintain 25,000 then what happens when you lose down to say 24,000. Are you allowed to day trade then? Or do you deposit more money? TIA

Not all lobbyists are created equal. I am talking bout the big company shills. Heard about the pink slime? Meat company made moola outta dog fillers. Had this secretary of agriculture not really sure but she approved this dog filler as food. She retires, now will sit on a board run by this company d...

Re: election year
Two most hated entities in the US are Wall Street and lobbyists. What chance does Romney has with his wall street background? Gingrich the lobbyist? It's too early for America to forgive and forget. Obama wins easy,no sweat. Don't care who wins, I call it like it is. Peace.

Skie, Read the Ebb guys triples patterns time line yet? No need to back test it, the dates he's included in the time line. That's the whole history of his triples patterns appearances in 2007 to present. I want to know why his triples work. You saying you'll give your take on it. Take your time Skie...
