Which do you need help with? Just learning the overall concept of your TSP in real life, or working the Fantasy TSP on this site? How long have you had your TSP account?

Hello everyone,

I am currently employed by the VA for the last 15 years as a Registered Pharmacist. I was referred to this website by a colleague of mine. I am currently contributing in the following funds:

C: 30%
S: 40%
I: 30%

I am very happy with my gains within the last year. Year to date I have seen over 29% gains in my account and look to learn from other users on this website!! Best of luck to all!!

Thanks Bill. I'm USAF retired and have been a GS employee now for 4 years. I want to increase my returns and have come across the TSP center.

Thanks for building this as well as the information presented.

Happy Investing to all,

Ken P

11 years in and finally taking interest. I was such a slacker I rode through 2008 in the G fund because that was were it was. In 2010 I started to make an effort once a month. Now I want to learn a bit more through the forum. I am highly suspicious of coworkers who claim double digit returns but I am open minded and willing to try to understand seasonal trends. Thank you for providing such a nice resource!

Hello everyone! I happened to stumble upon this today and immediately signed up! Looking forward to start digging through the forums for some good info. I do have trading/investment experience, mainly day trading, and did a decent job at padding my account in the process. 8-) Pretty much been using the buy and hold strategy for the TSP so far but am always digging for more information/strategies. I am extremely familiar with ninja trader as far as platforms go, I just wish there was a way to chart these funds so I could use my own specific technical analysis that I am used to. If anyone know...let me know. Oh well, like I said, looking forward to looking through the posts and seeing what is out there!

No stocks, just futures. TF and CL were the ones I liked the most.

Futures? Why not options? I've found the overhead for trading futures to be quite high.

Also, are you attempting to arbitrage the divergence from the S&P 500 or other indexes?
