Welcome to TSP Center

Post by TSPking »

I am a TSP investor just like you. I've been a federal employee for almost 10 years and have had an active interest in TSP for the past 5. I started TSP Center and FantasyTSP because a group of colleagues and myself wanted a place to track our TSP allocations and discuss investment performance as well as other TSP related topics.

I hope TSP Center attracts an active community of TSP investors. To do so, I need help spreading the word as well as ideas for how to make the site more beneficial. If you are looking for additional tools and features that are not a part of TSP Center, please bring them to my attention so I can look into including them.

Thank you for visiting TSP Center and happy investing!

Bill, thanks for having what looks to be exactly what I have been looking for. 26 1/2 year postal employee, was a little too conservative in the beginning of my TSP investing. Trying to maximize my funds before I retire. Look forward to using your site.

Welcome Jay. I hope 2008 has been kinder to your TSP account than mine

I look forward to learning from each other...

CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU FOR TSPCENTER

Thank you so much for TSPCenter. I am glad I found it. It is what I dreamed of when I came up with the idea of tspgo.com way back when.

Your charting system is awesome and the FanasyTSP is great. I know that there are quite a few good TSP sites out there but there is room for a great one.

Thank you for all the time, effort and money I know you have invested to bring the TSPCenter on line.

Sorry I missed the early months.

Thanks again.

tspgo. you haven't missed anything, this is just getting started!

Thanks for the kind comments. FantasyTSP has been a lot of work but at this point, its more fun than work.

I hope the TSP Center community grows. I think FantasyTSP's true potential will be realized when the user base is much larger!

Hello,

I am just introducing myself. I am a chaplain in the U.S. Army and I just enrolled in the TSP this summer and I am just looking for simple advice for this TSP thing and this forum looks to be a good spot to find some in. Thanks for putting this site together. I appreciate all your hard work.

Now taking interest

Post by clay »

I would like to introduce myself. I have worked for DOS for 5 years and have been steadily increasing my contributions and hope to reach the maximum allowable in the next few years. Previously I never adjusted my allocations and was 100% vested in the G Fund which seems to have kept me from making any major mistakes. Now I have some free time and would like to catch the next upswing in the economy and hope to find what I need here to achieve a higher rate of return. Thank you for building such a cool forum!

Ditto that..

Funny how a slide in the economy and the prospect of working longer.. make us more attentive :) I just found this site also and find it interesting to see the different strategies employed and the yields returned. Much better to have & watch 800 sims running (even with real data) than just one... Thank you for this opportunity and resource!

Pass the word

This is a great site. I have for the past few years maintained my own graphs of TSP performance to make sounder decisions. I am telling everyone about this site.

New member retiring in 3 years

Post by MaryPat »

I am a postal worker, 35 years, and looking to retire in 3 more. I'll be watching my progress and that of others thru Fantasy TSP to see if I can make my "real" TSP work harder for me.

Fantasy

Post by mikey1 »

Hi Bill,
I have just been introduced to TSP by a USFS employee friend. Interesting site and my question is this. I am not a current government employee although I served in the US Army, and currently fly for the USFS ever summer under contract, but not full time. After the learning period on TSP is it possible for me to invest through TSP other than fantasy??

Thanks Bill,

Mike
