Hello, Name is Ross
Hey Family,
New to the Site, and fairly to TSP trading. I am happy to have found the site, and am learning much from many of the posts, but i find each thing i learn, i have at least two more questions.
I got 100% into S fund Close of business on Super Tuesday, and am loving what has happened since.... When is it time to take the gains?!

Welcome to TSPCenter!
Your question is a loaded one. It'll depend on your investing style and appetite for risk. I'm in the camp of asset allocation and not trading the TSP. My recommendation would be to allocate your TSP balance according to your risk and the fundamental factors of the market.

Add "Iammarket" to your watch list if you want to see how buy-and-hold is performing. This member started in April and will stay 50/50 forever. Good benchmark.

Follow the charts at the bottom of this page. Funds go up, funds go down. Go back a year or five and study them well. Charts keep you off the shoals.

Welcome aboard...did you salute at the brow?
Enjoy That 13% 3-week return, Chief. It won't happen like that often. I lucked up and caught it as well (real account). If you believe the media, it was a straight fluke that could have just as easily gone the other direction.
Time will time, I suppose. It's getting way to tasty for me to go back in at the current levels. Wind down some froth, maybe pull back and maintain and I'll consider it. For now, my real money is safely in the G-fund.
