OK. Time to take the summer off. Going to the G fund. I am thankful for the 8% return I have so far. Hope you folks have a great return and summer. I am ranked 176 at the moment. It will be interesting to see where I am ranked after the summer.

What a summer! From being in 176 place to 793. Some people have made nice returns. Normally you do not expect such constant market increases during the summer. Not this year! I am back in but not back in. I am staying in the G fund for now.

I can't complain about the almost 10% return of my investment. However, compared to the buy and hold crowd, I was walloped. Following the Preferred Fund on this website, turned out to be too conservative. So with the Lord Jesus help, I am doing something different this next year. I am starting the new year in the S fund.

Somebody can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the "preferred fund" widget on this site has not been working correctly for some time. Good plan to move on to something new. Good luck in 2018.

Thanks for the head's up fordest. It may have been broadcast to the members. If they did, I obviously missed it. If they didn't, what do you expect from a free site. I can't complain.

Well I get my close to 2% return for the month and the F fund turns on me. Lord willing, my moving to the I fund for the rest of the month will be a safer place! I am starting to be nose bleeds at this level of the market. But, with the Lord's help, I am here to make money not lose it.

I am thankful for yesterday's upswing in the I fund. This roller coaster ride the stock market is on requires me to take a break for a few days. Going the F fund that has been beaten down so hopefully its at a bottom. (At least it doesn't swing as wild as the stock market!)

Hopefully, the S Fund is done taking profits. I will going there for a little while. Lord willing, it will go up.
