Thanks crondanet5. When I sell one of the stocks, I will look into it. Right now TIF, NIK, and NEM are 94.13, 88.29, and 39.28, respectively. This totals $221.70. Not doing as well as the overall stock market. However, I had to move the funds to an IRA so I could invest in real estate, since I am retired.

Now only $210.57. I will have to make a decision soon on whether to sell one of the stocks. Lord willing they will start to go up.

Thanks PremierTSP. Little late putting in the update. On 10/16 the total is $224.11.

Well praise the Lord. With the announcement of a company's attempt to buy out Tiffany, I gladly sold the stock for $128.72 a share. The overall value of my shares (NIK, TIF, and NEM) today was $256.84. With a cost basis of $195, my return on investment is 31.7%. Yes! I will talk with my wife tomorrow in seeing what stock next to buy.

With my wife's help, we decided on purchasing Graco (GGG) at $45.18. It is a defensive, dividend play. The total cost basis of my stocks are $171.30. Blessed be the Lord.

Not 60%. But better than last year. The currents stock are now at $196.76. So since the last purchase the return on investment is 14.8%. Total overall return for the year 46.5%. Needful to say, praise the Lord. He will know what tomorrow will bring.

I taking profit on NIKE (it's fruit picking time). Now priced at $103.71, Bought at $80.61. I am selling 25% of my portfolio. Thank you Lord.

I am taking profit on Newmont Mining. Now priced at $45.20. Bought at $33.16. I am selling 25% of Newmont stock. Once again, thank you Lord Jesus.

Needless to say I am staying put for the moment. Thank God I have gold stock.

Stocks now at $174.84. Now down from $190.70 at the beginning of the year. Thank God I sold some stocks when I did. I am about 15% down. Hopefully, the only way is up.
