What are your thoughts about August and September this year?
Will both months get hit hard like recent years? Or the Trump rally
makes August and September 2017 different. Thanks for your views.

The Trump rally has largely been written off by Wall Street. Beyond that I have heard forecasts for a 10% rise and a deep selloff. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Generally, historically, in the rare instances where you we get an early Wall Street rally like we had this year, you will continue to see an upward climb. 2013 saw a year like this I believe. I gave up waiting for another down moment and just put the rest of my chips in a Wall Street Tech Sector fund.
A lot of energy sectors should be posting tomorrow. If this overlooked sector beats, it should help the next two months.

I read this morning the Fed is unlikely to raise interest rates this year, and intends to sell off bonds next month. How likely is this to lower the F fund performance that most seasonal strategies select in August?

Hence the spur of the I fund late yesterday. I do remember saying they planned to raise rates three times this year. So far, they've raised twice. Watch out for them to fulfill the promise in a couple months.
