These are the new seasonal mixes that people are starting to follow. Over the summer, 7653 was the top mix available. There are many new ones that have slightly improved the gains since. They are all available on tspcalc.com. As for your decision, I could easily recommend any of the Top 100 mixes. But you can choose one based on your risk tolerance. That decision is totally up to you. Welcome to TSPcenter and good luck!

Did you know the Fed owns $1.7 trillion of mortgage-backed securities, 29% of the market, and $2.4 trillion in US government bonds, around 17% of that market? Don't fight the Fed, right?

Yellen says they are going to start shrinking their balance sheet, doing it slowly, with very carefully telegraphed steps. In the end, after thinking about it, that was seen as somewhat good news.

Nothing on these two charts supports an F fund transfer. 1- Unless we think bonds are oversold. 2- The separation of SP500’s Price and Mood. 3- Or maybe “Sell the News” Fed meeting.

Is your buddy Crondanet with you? Haven't heard anything from him recently.

Yeah, I noticed Crondanet hasn't been around much. They always made me laugh with their play fights and sarcasms.

It looks like the F has been in a foul mood.

As you can see from these two charts, stocks are losing momentum. However the bond fund did not take much advantage of that. Looking at the futures 10 and 30 Year Bond prices, that may change today.

With the ole' North Korea threat making news again we may be able to squeek out a few positive days in the F fund.

Are there other besides 10 and 30 Year Bond prices that affects the F fund?

You have mortgage backed securities, US Treasuries including notes & bonds, high quality corporate bonds (industrial, banks, utilities)
