You can subscribe to this topic at the top of the page. You can watch my fantasy by clicking the fantasy button below then finding the watch button. If you mean how do you "understand my post", I can explain:
Mr. Perfect - S to F on 12/4 - #54633 101.03%
#54957 --- Mr. Imperfect - G to S on 12/4 to C on 12/6 -55.99%
Mr. Perfect and Mr. Imperfect are two imaginary twins. Both are time travelers. The major difference in the two is that when Mr. Perfect time travels, he goes to the correct time and makes the correct decision in order to maximize his TSP. Mr. Imperfect, on the other hand, goes to the wrong time and chooses the wrong fund and has amazingly minimized his TSP.
The Fund to Fund dates relate to what each trader has done month to date. For example, above, Mr. Perfect started the month in the S fund and then went to the F fund on 12/4. He has yet to make his second move. You can see that Mr. Imperfect has made his second move into C on 12/6. The # is a TSPCalc-linked strategy number that corresponds to the strategy that each trader is currently using to attain their current results. Finally, the % is each trader's current YTD earnings/losses. This section changes periodically as the two move back and forth through time. Above that I almost always place a bit of commentary on what has happened on the previous day and what changes have occurred.
If, by chance, you meant how do you follow my post with one of your own? Well, you did that swimmingly.
I hope this helps you "follow my post."

Re: Mr. Perfect
I have had to institute this rule. It has just be come do difficult to track any other way. December is already crazy enough for me. So the below incorporates those changes. That is the reason Mr. Perfect seems to have lost money. He really didn't, he just traveled to another reality in which he has yet to get to where he was. He will get there. For now, he is in I.12squared wrote: Have you considered changing the ground rules so that both start in G on January 1?

No fund was exciting enough yesterday to interest either of the brothers. So, Mr. Imperfect joined Mr. Perfect in G. Both are waiting to see if Santa appears, just like the rest of us.

Re: Mr. Perfect
So Mr. Perfect is in the C fund now. (Well I know he may change his mind later.) But there is some significance to that. A- If you are feeling bullish, the C fund has got the most strength. B- If you are still in the bear camp, do you see Small Caps not leading as conformation of your bias?
On another note Mr. Fordest, if doing this has been a benefit to you, keep at it. If it is more work than you want to continue then stop. And as for what other people think, if they don’t want to see it, or read your post, that’s easy they can just not click on it. I think a lot of people are pissed about their accounts now, and that has put them in a bad mood. That poll is more about their hatred for that SOB Mr. Perfect, than what the indicator tells them. I’m giving you rep. points because of your work.

Thanks Tomy. I plan to do it for myself. Based on the poll I was thinking to just update it every once in a while. I enjoy watching it, so the time I put into it is worth it for me.
Re: Mr. Perfect
C was down and S and I were not up enough to bring Mr. Perfect over so he went to G. Still up in the air whether he goes back to C or remains in G for the this last trading day of the year. When I come back to my computer on Wednesday I will post the final results for Mr. Perfect and Mr. Imperfect and we can bid them farewell.
Mr. Perfect - S to F on 12/4 to C on 12/26 to G on 12/28 - #57542 111.61%
Mr. Imperfect - G to S on 12/4 to C on 12/24 to G on 12/26 - #57098 -60.11%

Re: Mr. Perfect
The final numbers are in. Mr. Perfect ended the year in S then went to G to start off 2019. Mr. Imperfect also ended the year with 4 days of gains... Who knew?
Some interesting things about the final winning strategy, 57097: It had an average of only 14.36 since 2004, a StD of a whopping 27.35, but a PNR of 87% with only two negative years. However it does have three months with negative average returns. It's previously highest year was 2010 with over 22% followed by 2008 with over 17%. That tells me 2018 had more in common with 2008 than 12 of the other 13 years in this sample.
We can now say goodbye to the 2018 Perfect Brothers.

Mr. Imperfect - G to S on 12/4 to C on 12/24 to G on 12/26 - #57098 -60.10%
