RGEN...I know, I was talking about real life in response to benhem612 link to GovExec's article "TSP Tells Feds Not to Panic After Brexit Vote Sends Markets Tumbling"

To the people that put all their (real) chips on the I fund today, I hope you make a killing. I'm too much of a chicken to make such a bold move and I admire your chutzpah!

Although I also wish those that went all into the I fund the best, I personally think it was a mistake to go in this early. With the affect the Brexit has on this fund (20% I read) I think there is a lot more risk to the downside. There is just way too much uncertainty for me to touch the I fund. Actually, I think the C and S still has some downside, but who knows. Eventually, I think the US funds will become a safe haven for international investors and will go up. However, I am going to watch next week to see how things are going and make a decision based in the performance of the funds. At this point we don't know how far stocks will drop because we are in uncharted territory. My best guess is that the S&P will drop a little more (down to around 2000) before starting back with an uptrend. Who knows about the I fund.

What do you all think the odds are next week of a bounce vs. a continued slide?

Not sure if I made the correct move to 100% I.....but all my chutzpah will go out the window if the market drops another 10 or 20% next week.....I took a shot hoping things will calm down over the weekend & there will be a small bounce back early next week.

My back-up was $5 on Mega-Millions last night......got a return of $1 on that $5 investment.......better than expected.....lol

How do you insert a picture? I have a chart that shows the months with the better Turn-Of-the-Month (TOM) effect.
