Last paycheck, TSP funds not added to account

Just curious if anyone had something similar happen. Last pay period, 4/7, I got paid, but my TSP funds didn't show up in my TSP account like they normally do. usually happens on the day before pay day ...

I just checked. I got paid on 4/7, and tsp.gov shows my contribution on 4/6 as it usually does.

I checked mine on Friday and all seemed well. I was bummed, however, that my shares were purchased on Thursday whenever Friday the markets went down. Buy high and sell low? Nah, its a buy and sell for later routine.

My last contribution was 3/23/2017. Last transaction was 3/28 for excess deferral refund of $186.

My paycheck says funds were deducted and matched for TSP.

Who would I contact about this?

I had the same thing...my funds were deducted but not added to my TSP along with my match...hmmmm????

Same problem here...funds deducted from paycheck but not added to tsp... hope this isn't them wanting to have me buy at a higher price...

I have the same issue. Contacted TSP, they said it could be that payroll was slow processing things and it "may" appear overnight. Which is code for they don't know!

My TSP shows contribution on 4/6 so I didn't get the same problem as others have posted here. However I do have a question. If my transaction shows a date of 4/6, does this mean that I bought shares at 4/6 closing price?
I am trying this "system" where all my contributions are placed in the G fund but I log the price of the S fund to show what I would have paid. If the S Fund declines below this value, I transfer everything from the G to the S Fund. Currently I have a balance of 108k in S fund and about 3k in G fund. so basically I am trying to buy S fund at a lower price.

Spoke with tsp ... said a bulletin came in from VA reporting that there would be a delay due to a "payroll issue" that should be resolved Monday 4/10. She stated the contributions would likely be received from VA payroll and go in overnight tonight.

I asked what price would be used and she stated their policy is to use the share price of the day funds are received, but that I could "take it up with VA payroll" if I wanted to pursue having them cover any difference due to the delay...

Here's hoping for the I fund to bottom out today .

Thanks! Now that I think about it, the money was deducted but the balance was equal to before. Glad to see we're all in the same boat.
