Get hyped- There's a new Seasonal Calculator in town

Coming soon to an internet near you!

Yes, it works. But it isn't released yet. There are a couple of small things left-
1. Error checking. In checking this calculator against my Daily Seasonal excel spreadsheet, I found four discrepancies. Finding the error is a tedious process. So far, the first two errors have been in the spreadsheet, not in the web calculator (good sign). I haven't gone through the other two yet.
2. Recall ability. Currently, the database logs every calculation that is submit to the website. However, there is not presently a way to get back to that calculation without inputting it all over again. This should be fairly easy to solve.
3. Benchmarks- The idea is that you can compare your calculation to several of the popular seasonal strategies here. These aren't done yet, but won't take much more effort.

I have made record progress on this because my wife is on her night shift rotation. I promise I will get it done and share it with you before she goes back to day shift and I fall off the face of the internet.

Patience, young grasshopper. I have to fix things. For instance, in that screenshot, the "Averages" clearly aren't averages. Now it's fixed.

Fantastic job! Is it limited in how many benchmarks it can display or will we get them all (greedy, greedy)?

In theory you could display unlimited benchmarks. I could even set it up to allow you to benchmark other people's calculations that they share the link to.

In a sense, that's what I did when I developed the daily seasonal strategy.

Really great job!

I hope somebody will make a seasonal calculator someday so we can actually put a percentage in each fund though, like if I want to do 25% G, 25% I, and 50% C for the month of April.
