No. Thursday is still the IFT day. Today is not counted as a TSP trading day. The calendar counts TSP trading days, not market days.

We need the S fund to burn for 3 days.. then like a phoenix from the ashes!!!
I don't recommend hoping for negative returns at any time. Look at the calendar for your strategy...7980 has Thursday as IFT. The current leading strategy, 12503, moves on Wednesday.

Burn it down Anne! :D. Yes we know when the IFT, but they are based upon "trading days" I believe the tspcalc doesn't count today as a trading day though it actually is. So if we are counting the "trading days" to be in the next fund (7980 is on the 8th trading day), we'd logicially have to count today. The 8th trading day is in fact Wednesday.

Ah... how does that work? The markets still trade, but we take all our tsp billions out?

MJ talked about it here

Its like Friday and Monday are rolled into one big day. We still get the gains/losses, we just cant make any trades today. Pretend it's a weekend with market movement.

The bond market is on holiday even though the stock market is open today. (Probably why the TSP chose to make today a holiday.)

A typhoon came through and forced water through the living room vent. My laptop was sitting in that corner of the room and it is ruined.

So don't expect any website updates for at least a few months.

Hope that's the worst of your troubles. The calc is awesome as it is.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you didn't have any major damage beyond the laptop. Best wishes.

No damage except the laptop. The Japanese are really good at building for typhoons and earthquakes.

I did not anticipate water coming in through the sliding doors and the vents. Just a little bit. Enough to ruin a computer and wet the tile floor.
