Bearish I fund chart pattern? 7/21/17
Seasonal Strategies are moving to F on July 31st before 12 noon. This could be a foreboding pattern of bearishness to come for the "I" fund.
Remember we don't have an exact "I" fund ETF to follow. And MSCI EAFE INDEX is very gappy at times. I still "THINK", don't know for sure, that the "I" fund will climb a little higher.

I am just an average Joe. I have no clue to what the market will do.

The 6 main seasonal strategies go "F" for Aug and Sept

Still thinking about it. Might stay with C a bit longer.

Worht a try I guess.

The first part of the article below supports bearishness in I, based on overseas indices, not EFA. The only thing which seems to be keeping the I fund afloat is the declining dollar.

Only Dax & Nikkei (about 1/3 of I fund) relate to I Fund. Article seems to be recommending what Tomany was explaining in another thread on interday trading...sell (take profits) on strength and buy on weakness for US markets.

Think I'll hang out in C a little longer.
Re: Bearish I fund chart pattern? 7/21/17
The after-hours market numbers are looking up for the I fund (close to 1% at this moment). Tough to watch the herd moving at a rapid pace , but I will probably stick around the I fund for a few more days to squeeze a little more out of the weakness in the dollar. The F fund doesn't seem to be kicking-in yet, so I'm feeling okay about delaying the move.
Re: Bearish I fund chart pattern? 7/21/17
Daily seasonal says to jump to F fund... market looks like I fund is the place to stay.
Like bamablue, gonna try to squeeze a bit more out of it.

100% I fund Until the middle of August, then a move to F? Any thoughts?

Over the past 5 full years (2012-2016), the top 50 Daily Seasonal mixes say to stay in I until August 16, then go F, then S from Aug 23 on.
