We'll call it the Red Squadron... our theme could be, "Stay on Target"! :D

I'm in. I would like to see which strategy others are following and why. I'm currently following 7653 but am also looking closely at 5920.

That might not be a bad idea brochacho... but all the Star Wars fans would bully us cause they'd think we were a rival cosplay group.

Hi All,

Where do you find these daily mixes and how do you make that work with only 2 TSP transfers per month? Got 5 years to go and would not mind making more before i retire. Thanks

I'm following 7653 also. I retired two years ago, taking a draw of $2K per month. I've drawn $48K so far and my TSP balance today is $2K more than the day I retired.

The strategy works (so far).

Ok Red Leader, count me in. I am following 7980. It was shortly after I voiced my concern over the outlier years of 2008 and others in the leaders that mmmmmbeer brought this mix to my attention. I loved the low StD and it hooked me!
100% in the daily system since August 2, 2017.
Following strategy (current pick) #88676. 2020 real life has been following #110838

#10716 because... swinging for the fences!

I have about 9 yrs til I plan to retire, hopefully debt free except maybe a couple years on the house.

Military pension, fed pension, social security... I don't feel I'll really need my TSP.

There's not a lot in there anyway because I was a slacker for quite a while.

Been running double digit PIPs, average over 17% for the last 9 months and it got me thinking... what if?

Per the TSP.gov FAQ's: "You are allowed two unrestricted IFTs each calendar month. Once you have reached that limit, the only IFT you are allowed to make is into the Government Securities Investment (G) Fund."
