Daily seasonal "F" fund transfer on Monday
9/18/17 before noon transfer to "F" fund.
It looks like the market is starting to moving more sideways than up. Using oscillator indicators should be more beneficial than momentum indicators. Slow and fast stochastics are approaching oversold territory. "F" looks favorable to me.

"S" fund in the over bought territory

Maybe I am seeing what I want to see. But, it makes me feel good about a transfer to "F" on Monday. And we all know that we should let emotions guide our trading! ((that was sarcasm for anyone about to flame me))

I am just an average Joe. I have no clue to what the market will do.

If you don't mind my asking, which daily seasonal are you following?

Right now pending moves to the F fund are out numbering the I fund by 2:1.

10716 started in August for the Aug 23 transfer to "S"
Before that I was following the "CLapper" monthly seasonal.

Looks like people are torn between the F Fund and the I Fund

F15mech, that is exactly my problem (torn between the F and the I...) so I split the difference and went 50% F and 50% I.
I don't like to not go 100% into one fund...and with the daily seasonal doing so well lately, I hated to deviate from that too, but I can't figure this market out.... so 1/2 and 1/2 it is.....
I'm still #4 in the "Top Five 360 Day Leaders" as of right now, but let's see if that holds.....
Good luck to all....

I'm also 10716 - going to F.

I'm with you, I wished we would go back to the days of the G fund earning a consistent 5%. Life would be so much easier
Re: Daily seasonal "F" fund transfer on Monday
Last time G Fund earned 5% was 2002. Last time I was 100% in G Fund was 1991 when the Annual Return for G, F & C: 8.15%, 15.75% & 30.77%, respectively. Good for saving...not so good for getting a loan.

That's a nice return, but I believe inflation and/or interest rates were absurd at that time.

I like the 10716 you're following. Looks like S is up again today.
