Who's following the daily strategy (whatever that daily strategy is) 100%?
I'm following 7980 and seeing the other funds rocketing but I'm on G fund just wishing things go in my favor. lol

Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
Good Morning!
Since I can be an emotional investor, I love that the daily strategies take emotion out of it. I’m following 7653 which also has me in the G right now. I think the Trump bump has affected the markets this year in a positive way which just makes me more excited for the upcoming jump to C and S.
Stick to the plan and it’ll all work out!

In it with the G. I wish I was in the S right now. But sticking to it.
Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
I'm 100% with 15748 (No F, low 7.8% deviation, and >30% Mean)
Currently in G, and trying not to look at news where market is moving until I move to S on 12 Oct.

I'm 100% G until 12 Oct as well. I am telling myself that the S Fund will dip a little next Wed or Thu.
Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
I've been using the daily seasonal since August 17, 2017. Since then, I have changed strategy # probably about 10 times - I keep finding one I like better than the last. My rules:
I want the highest: Mean rate of return / standard deviation (2004-2016)
I want the worst year to be higher than my current strategy's worst year.

Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
100% following #7980.....a little green with envy as I watch the market climb while I chill in the "G" fund, but I'm sticking with it!
Moved from GClapper's M3 Mix to the Daily Seasonal #7980 / July 2017

I'm 100% in. Fantasy and Real TSP. TC, I have been doing the exact same thing as you are. Let's make a pact. I will let you know if I find a better one if you let me know if you do. Ya? cool!
Now we just need to make sure we make it to 25.99 this year.
Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
I'm 100% 7980 with one small deviation, I use the income fund instead of the F and G funds if it's possible. This gives me the relative safety of the G/F with a slight uptick of the equity funds when doing good since 20% of the income fund is made up of C/S/I. It has worked well so far and I intend to continue using the Income versus the F/G funds.

Deal!
Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
I jumped in with both feet 100% in my real TSP around 8/23/17. Started with #10716. I'm currently in G and am up a little over 2% since starting. Making the switch to #16198 on 10/12.
Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
sarvbill may be on to something using L Income fund in place of F or G. I hadn't thought about that before.

Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
100% on the daily train, sitting in G. The way I look at it, is that every strategy is going to be out, when they wish they were in, and vice versa, throughout the year. Rule of probability is that you are going to be in at the right time, more often than not. Winning with singles and doubles, not trying to hit home runs....that's when you strike out. GO SOX!!!!

Not a bad idea.
Re: Who's following the daily strategy 100%?
TopComm, I just ran #16198, and indicates SD only 4.88%.
You may want to lower the 7.2% in your signature line. (Both are great in my opinion)
I'm going to plug in values for Income Fund in place of F and G in a calendar to see what effect it would be YTD on this strategy.
