Any Guesses?

Post by Chulke »

Can anyone guess how much more steam this bull has in it? I'm not complaining, but I'm nervously awaiting the bottom to try and drop out. I hope not right or anytime soon, but it's going to correct itself eventually.

Are there any good technical analysts on here? What are the charts telling ya?

Cheers!

without going into long details i can simply tell you from my research and calculation, i'm very confident the market will continue to rise by 30% before eventually finding itself in a 20%-30% correction. when the correction happens push 100% into C S and I

Basically "breakouts" for "C" and "S" funds. Oct, Nov and Dec should be good months for stocks. Next historically bad month for stocks will be January. So, everything looks positive for now.
I am just an average Joe. I have no clue to what the market will do.

Don't worry boys and girls until you see me jump back in the market. That is when you should be extremely worried about a major downturn. Until then let the dancing party continue!

Put all TA in the garbage. As long as QE, Japan and Swiss keep buying there is no end how far the market will go. Also Trump Tax Plan if it get through it will only add to a skyrocket market.

The market definitely seems different this year with no apparent correction but an investing website I subscribe to has suggested that we have experienced a "rolling correction" affecting individual sectors one at a time. The Healthcare sector, Financial sector, Tech sector and Energy sector have all taken 3-5% hits this year but not at the same time which makes the overall market appear more stable.

I think that we've had our annual correction this year and don't have to hide in the G fund waiting for the other shoe to drop. The VIX is low and headed lower, the Treasury Yield curve is normal, I agree with the others that this bull still has a few more miles to go.

I'll go with one of the all-time great minds when it comes to guessing what the stock market will do:

"OCTOBER: This is one of the peculiarly dangerous months to speculate in stocks in. The other are July, January, September, April, November, May, March, June, December, August, and February." - Mark Twain

I suspect we'll see some profit taking today...S&P500 up 1.32% this week alone...Pretty darn good if you ask me. Futures are looking down this morning so...profit taking might happen, although yesterday the futures were pointing down first thing in the AM too.

So we'll see!
