Daily strategy questions

Just started using 7980, but also thinking about 16198. Giving them a try over the next three months and see how it works out. Not much difference between the two except on sends you to the G and one to the F. Have done alright trying to time the market but it's a pain to keep up with and missed three big gains by 1 day this year. A lot of people smarter than me use the daily, so i figure why not.

I'm still studying the various strategies. Just took the plunge to C fund while I decide which one to follow.

The Daily 7980 is below the mean for Oct. Anyone got ideas as to why the C and S have done so poorly this month?

CNN says all this extreme investor greed will cause the bottom to fall out, crash, bang, boddaboom.

Let's blame the C & S bad performance on them.

C&S have done well this month. ~2% for those that are using a monthly strategy that made an IFT to C on 29 September. Most of the daily strategies were out of the market the 1st part of the month. This year definitely has been atypical...sometime you win & other times you lose, but I think the daily strategies are currently positive for the month.
