Quick Question - Move to G

Does a move to G count against your 2 monthly IFTs?

I know that after you've made 2 IFTs, you can still make a final move to G in that month.

But does it count against you in the middle of two IFTs to C,S or I?

Seeing the F fund's poor performance so far today, despite stocks being down, I think I am convinced to replace F with G in the future. Part of this is because we are usually in the F fund for brief periods of time; and therefore not likely to make huge gains with the F anyway.

I’m in F following the daily strategy I chose, but I can’t recall a period from 2004 - present when the fed has sold bonds after buying them. G may be the best choice until the fed is done selling.
