So I went to see how much my pops account gained in November. So I set the "Activity Summary" from Oct. 31 - Nov. 29th.
The balance it gave for the Oct. 31st start was: $291,059.81
I thought that weird as I could have sworn I saw a different number for Oct. 31st on the "Account Balance". So I put the Account Balance to Oct. 31 and low and behold: $291,346.39.
Uhhh... so what gives? Why two different numbers that are supposed to be October 31st?
Does it have to do something with the interest compounded on that day going forward?

It is probably an issue of open price vs closing price. Try adjusting either of them by one day and see if that matches up.
See if the start date of october 30th matches the end date of october 31st.
