Dividends and the TSP
So the way I understand it the S and C fund mimick the Dow and S&P 500. When invested in the S&P index when dividends are re-invested throughout your journey to retirement the account grows much faster obviously. I realize there is no way to set dividends up to be re invested vs withdrawn in the TSP. So how do dividends work for us? I assume they are automatically re-invested?

Not quite, the S fund doesn't mimic the DOW, Dow Jones Industrial Average, (DJI).rmcdeepsea wrote:So the way I understand it the S and C fund mimick the Dow and S&P 500.
The S mimics the Dow Jones U.S. Completion Total Stock Market Index (DWCPF).
