The term "a priori" in statistics and research refers to what is known before/prior to the outcome/data collection. Hypotheses/models created AFTER knowledge of the outcome are considered a posteriori and have limited value in predictive statistics.mjedlin66 wrote:What is priori? Google doesn't seem to know.
While all the data on tspcalc technically a posteriori, a major advantage of the site would be the ability to simulate a priori analyses (e. g., by using models solely based on information from 2004 to predict data from 2005).
