Silly question,
When you make a change, are you moving from both the contribution allocation and the intrafumd transfer?

The contribution allocation is a separate action from the IFT. It is up to you if you want to change your allocation at the same time as you make an IFT. Some people have allocation mirror their IFT (with a few extra clicks), others select G or another fund for their allocation (rolls into selected fund with next IFT if you are using 100%).

My 2 cents:
Not that there will be huge difference, but I think that contribution allocations should go into the G fund. These allocations will be every other Friday, but unless you have time to research which of the other funds would be best to buy in, you will never lose money by buying G. If you don't do any research and you allocate to any other fund, you may be buying in at a high and then when you go do an IFT you may be selling at a lower price.
I already spend enough time doing research just for the IFT's, I don't think I want to spend that much more time for the contributions as well.
