Last Day to file 2017 Taxes
Just a friendly reminder. Has everyone filed their 2017 taxes?
Re: Last Day to file 2017 Taxes
You are 3 years early for those expecting a refund. Though, this is the last day to file your 2014 tax return for a refund.

Can't imagine not filing taxes for 3 years, but what about those who owe from 2014 or before?

You can get away with not filing for 3 three years if you overpay your taxes. The IRS will gladly hold your money for you without paying you any interest, hoping you don't file to collect your refund.
A friend of mine, who bought new cars with cash and paid off house mortgages within 5 years, used this method to build his savings account because he said he couldn't save money any other way.
Whatever works for you.

I never thought to ask him if the IRS paid him any interest but that would certainly be a pleasant surprise.
