Google charts accurate?

Post by misfit »

Today didn't seem so terrible from the Google fund charts. So why is there such a HUGE difference for the funds compared to the charts? I get that they may not mirror exactly but what a difference. It seems to only happen when things are worse than they appear.

I'm not sure, Ive never seen the S and C be off like this. Maybe some type of adjustment like how the I adjusts for the value of the dollar.

I'm confused too. Yesterday didn't drop 2% for C (less than 0.5% wasn't it?), Monday was a non-trading day, and Friday is already accounted for. So if this 2% is for two days then it's double-counting a day, right?

Monday was not a non-trading day. The markets traded. TSP was just closed. Therefore, Tuesday's price included Monday's change and Tuesday's change.
