STRENGTH: F fund gains on the stock fund’s weakness.

Lately I've been using the F fund for that exact reason. I figure when the C and S drop, the F generally goes up which negates some of those losses. And if the F drops, it's minimal. Does this make any sense?

When you look at the history, generally the bond fund goes up when stocks go down. But not always, because there are other factors that play into it. Bonds are as close to a “short” as we can get with TSP funds. Safe haven? Cash (G fund) will always be King, but a gold fund would be good.

PUSH Stopped its gradual ascent, and came in flat. Friday’s Push number (7.04) was the same as Thursday’s.

Note: My personal strategy is following the Pull's buy/sell signals (2 back-to-back days up, buy S fund. 2 days down, sell). However the Push overrules the Pull, and there is no buying while the Push is flat or down.

PULL Eight consecutive days of decline.

STRENGTH: The F fund moved from bottom to top in Strength. The S fund cross under 1.

PUSH Push returned to it’s slightly up mode (+0.02).

PULL Unconvinced of the positive change, Pull came in with another lower number.

STRENGTH: The F fund still top in Strength. The stock funds have got to show some stamina, to make their new born Strength conclusive.

I was very much on the fence this morning after my research last night. I was already sold on going to G from the F fund, your move confirmed that. However, it also indicated that IF the C fund broke above 2815 or so it may go off to the races with sideliners jumping in, which it did just prior to IFT cutoff.

May be a short stay in the G fund for me. Thanks as always!

Looking back a few years, AGG doesn't get much higher above its 50-Day EMA, than this before a pullback. So playing the odds. Thanks for your support.

STRENGTH: The I fund, (thus far the weakest stock fund) gained the most. It’s trying to follow the script written for it by some of the seasonality reports.

PUSH +0.02 up-slope more.

PULL Stopped sliding and turned up. The market has been up for the past 6 trading sessions, so it’s a late signal, this time.

STRENGTH: The F fund ran into resistance, at the area that it has pulled back before (8-9). The stock funds keep climbing. The S fund is on bottom, even factoring its higher gains yesterday.

PUSH Came in flat, same # as Thursday’s. My personal strategy is is no buying while the Push is flat or down, no mater what the the Pull's signals are.

PULL Down 0.15.

STRENGTH: The stock funds had a very weak day. The strength was with the F fund.
