FY2019 Raise will be approved
Good Morning All,
Good news for the whole website. 1.9% pay raise going into effect, once the Bill is signed by our President. *edit* this is Retroactive, so this goes back to Pay Period 1 as well.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... 7c1173fe59
Also, there is a stand-alone bill for a 2.6% pay raise in the Senate. I doubt this will pass, as that would be a 4.5% raise for one year (1.9 + 2.6), but I left the Bill for your review.

So why wouldn't Trump quash this with a veto like he did during the shutdown with an executive action?
What's he reason for allowing this now and stopping it then?

I will not lie, I originally had N.P. as my original image but decided something less political. It's getting a little too warm in here.Hoss2112 wrote: I know, I know...it's the same person.
Throwing some funny around - how about Mr. Trump's main man?

Nah, just getting the Lefties fired up. Putin is getting the Righties irritated. I'll enjoy normalcy in the middle.ArrieS wrote:Another sore loser identifies themselves.Hoss2112 wrote:

Can we fing stop with the politics already? Trumps sanctions on Russia and expanding NATO east doesn't really coroborate that whole story anyway.

Hey a raise is a raise. 1.9% is better than 0%.
This should apply to postal as well, as it is across the board.
@arries President Trump doesn't have a grudge with you or me. He has a grudge with career heads of agencies at other departments. He wants to focus on border security, and that's it, not increasing government salary. Can we avoid politics though, it gets old.
We got a raise. Let's all order a buffalo chicken pizza tonight, with cinnamon things, and drink a six rack of yuengling and enjoy our well earned paycheck that won't be shutdown .

Unfortunately, those of us West of the Mississippi can't get Yuengling. Sure liked it when I was in FL.
