I was working on some new features on my "beta" site... Ran this comparison just for kicks.
57171 has these 2004-2018 stats for March: 3.17% average, 3.32% SD. So "usually", March will return between -.15% and +6.49%.

By comparison, the S fund stats are: 2.43% average, 3.31% SD. For a "usual" range of -.88% to 5.74%.

Here's what's coming in 4.0. I was working on #8 when I posted this.
  • 1) Added: Contribution Calculator. Free to use, but subscribers can save their plan to their account.
    2) Added: "Next IFT" in "My Watch List" now indicates the next fund AND date.
    3) Added: The Seasonal Calculator "Results" table is now dynamic, allowing you to update the year range on the fly.
    4) Added: The Seasonal Calculator "Results" table now allows you to click on a benchmark to immediately show its full stats table.
    5) Added: The Seasonal Calculator "Results" table now shows Standard Deviation for each month column.
    6) Added: Snazzy TSPcalc Logo.
    7) Added: The three Seasonal tools are now grouped together in desktop navigation.
    8) Added: The Seasonal Calculator "Results" table now shows Standard Deviation for each month column.
    9) Added: The Seasonal Calculator now allows you to enter schedule your IFTs relative to a holiday or End-of-Month.
    10) Added: The Seasonal Builder now provides current-year data as soon as each month is over.
    11) Changed: Logging in now returns you to the page you were on, rather than directing you to "My Account".
    12) Changed: Fund colors have been changed to match the colors of TSP.gov.
    13) Added: Print button for Seasonal Calculator trading calendars.
    14) Added: Print button for Seasonal Calculator graphs **Needs work.
    15) Changed: The Seasonal Calculator "Results" table now represents the core funds by their letter "G,F,C,S,I" rather than their strategy #.
    16) Fixed: "# of IFTs" for Core Funds should read 0, not 1, even though the calculator will display it as a single IFT on 1st TD of January.

Let me start with a huge kudos for all that you have done mjedlin66! Fantastic work.
I have, however, found a weird oddity in the seasonal builder:
I know that it is possible to sort by columns in each month after you have built a strategy by clicking on the column title, but the sorting seems to have issues.
For instance, keep the start & end years 04 to 18 and then sort by maximum descending, no filters.
If you click on 'Min' in January, the first Min is -1.95 then the second is -10.02 and if you scroll down the list it keeps descending to -13.45 but then jumps to -2.03. So it looks like it's sorting by first digit-ish instead of by actual value.

I had forgotten about that problem. I will add it to my list. Thank you.
