Damn ... I was looking forward to that very generous 1% increase.

I’d have no issues with it except they spend like drunken sailors on everything else and then they get to fed salaries and get cheap as if they can balance the budget by ditching a pay raise that would’ve done nothing more than offset the increased health care premiums. And I suspect the mil will still get a pay raise.

One thing i have learned from 2 decades of fed service is: never put your faith into any politician's promises, especially if uttered just before an election

Is this a proposal or did this actually pass?

Funny they were talking about giving us hazard pay upwards of $20,000. So now we don’t get that AND no pay raise smh.

You can't have it both ways. Your property value most likely increased in 2020, so expect your taxes to go up too. Be near a sofa when you open the envelope

With luck they were reassessed in 2019.... :)

I mean. Atleast we are employed. Covid has ruined a lot of civilian jobs. It happens though :/. No pay raise and increase to healthcare. Woo. /sarc

This is just the Senate bill. Besides, Georgia can still go to the Democrats and they get a majority in both house and change it then, or just give a better raise next year.

Good lesson to not rely on pay increases, but to make yourself more valuable. Every year I made sure to have my supervisor quantify in writing the standards I had to meet for a quality step increase when I was a GS. That way I knew what I had to do and they had no wriggle room to not put me in for one.
