Little over a week away. I don't want to make the same mistake I made in December though. I went S fund early December and jumped back into the G fund because I got excited over a 1% gain. I missed the whole "Santa" rally :(

I can't figure out the proper time to get in and usually am a day or two late for the get outs :) I know that leaving 90% of my fund in G is not doing me any good at all.

Buy and hold for 2013 was obviously the better choice, but hindsight is 20/20. Don't fight the Fed indeed! :o

I put way too much faith in seasonal strategy. I need to go back to my old style of just buying the dips. Several times in the past I've been able to go 100% S fund on dips like yesterday and cash out during bounces like today. Oh well another 1% gain missed!
