Kiplinger, good or bad?

Post by Racerx919 »

Wondering if anyone had an opinion on this publication. I was reading it and wondering if I should subscribe or not. Did some research and they did have a few winners for the best 2015 stocks. Seems to easy!

I subscribed for a year...found it much like Money, Forbes and other monthlies. The world changes too fast for monthlies to be relevant anymore. At least that's why I cancelled.

That's a good point, they did have a few winners in the "Best stocks for 2015". What would you recommend for current advice/information?

A company that I used to work for subscribed to one of their local coo work for subscribed to one of their local construction sales leads reports. We used it to figure out who was hiring to be the first to send a resume in. I think their main monthly might be one of those free online reports listed with Ameritrade, if you have an account with them.

I haven't found anything better than CNBC.com. You have to be vigilant to sort their facts from their opinions, and their opinions tend to cancel each other out, so it's not a good place for advice, but the currency of their news and data is hard to beat and is easy on the brain.

Thanks rcozby, I'm going to have a look at CNBC.com. Funny you mentioned opinion, while listening to Bloomberg on the way home yesterday they were injecting political opinion spots which I don't want or need. Guess they just can't help themselves.

Racer I record CNBC's Fast Money and Options Action shows to review carefully later. They seem to be a day ahead of big market moves and Carter Worth's charts keep proving to be correct.

All good stuff, thanks crondanet5, appreciate the input. I might just record it as you do, and have a leisurely viewing later in the evening.

Agree w/Cron on all counts. You can get CNBC on SIRIUS/XM channel 112...Melissa Lee gets me home safely every night.
