22% of millennials say they have “no friends”.
https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/ ... loneliness

"This ought to be prime years of careers taking off and starting families, before joints really begin to ache. Yet as a recent poll and some corresponding research indicate, there’s something missing for many in this generation: companionship.
A recent poll from YouGov, a polling firm and market research company, found that 30 percent of millennials say they feel lonely. This is the highest percentage of all the generations surveyed.

Furthermore, 22 percent of millennials in the poll said they had zero friends. Twenty-seven percent said they had “no close friends,” 30 percent said they have “no best friends,” and 25 percent said they have no acquaintances. In comparison, just 16 percent of Gen Xers and 9 percent of baby boomers say they have no friends."

I wonder if is because a large percent are spoiled and complain all the time? A quick way to loose friends. They don't even like each other?

LOL

My guess is that Social-Media/Internet/Computer/Mobile-Phones/Amazon has a lot to do with it.

Remember how often we had to leave the house back in the day? Etc. etc.
Remember when you had to know where someone was physically, in order to talk to them on the phone?
Remember arcades?
Remember The Mall?
Remember having to ask others about stuff you didn't know? ("Ask around.") Google used to be other people (or the library).
Remember when there were only a handful of "good" TV channels?

We kinda had to be more social back then ... not so much now.

I never thought of it this way, but he might be right.
"Comedian on Why Conservatives Are So Happy, Leftists So Miserable: Socialists Need Enemies"

“One reason conservatives are so happy and lefists are so miserable is that capitalists need friends,” wrote Evan Sayet. “They need business partners and investors, trading partners and customers so satisfied they come back again and again.

“The socialist needs enemies,” Sayet went on. “There must be people who hate him and oppress him. If he’s not hated and oppressed then socialism doesn’t exist.

“If he [the socialist] can’t find any such hatred, he’s forced to make it up,” Sayet continued. “‘Dog whistles’ – he knows what you’re REALLY saying – and ‘micro-aggressions’ are all invented nonsense because this ‘oppression’ simply MUST be true or else there’s no socialist movement (and no free things.)”

Sayet concluded: “The socialist doesn't need to work well with others because he doesn't work. What he needs is an excuse to justify his theft.”

And yet the right complains about how the largest companies in America are censoring them.

If that was true, wouldn't Google, Facebook, etc be censoring the left?

 That's funny.

Have you pigeon-holed "Independents?" If so, how would you characterize them?

And what are your thoughts on Trump?
