I am amused as well. What tends to happen is that someone from a specific demographic posts a topic that is antithetical to another's. The OP posits a "progressive" idea or thought. This post is then perceived as an existential threat by the other party, who is intolerant of any idea that contradicts their personal long-standing dogma.

Hilarity ensues.

You guys that unleash unprovoked anger on your federal co-workers,
in an attempt to force them to talk on subjects you like to read,
rather than you making your own discussions,
probably make these people,
many with information to give,
want to just stop posting as they desire,
and bend and comply with your demands,
and reveal all that they know,
to you,
about the markets.

Hey, did you hear the one about the guys that hate political bars, walking into a political bar ...



Why would they do that? Answer:

People that say they hate political discussions, enter forums clearly designated for political discussions,
for the same reasons that,
A group of straight guys would walk into a gay bar years ago ... to start trouble.

The trouble instigators aren't those wanting legitimate discussions; they are the ones entering the forum with no intent of legitimate discussion.

They want to start trouble with the hopes that moderators will simply shut down the forum, rather than taking a little more effort to ban the instigators.

Perfect example. Out of the blue instigation, then self-defense. (Pretty good response, I might add. )

I always come in peace, but will defend myself. Sometimes my defense is minimal, subtle and tranquil, other times not.
