I am doing the happy dance in the I fund -- I am less than $17K away from recouping what I lost in the crash where my porfolio lost half its value in March 09. So my brothers and sisters, the question of the day is... do I stay or do I go?

Wondering the same thing myself. Nothing like a case of the Fund shakes to make you antsy to submit a G Fund IFT again. I accomplished an analysis of the I Fund in the TSP Charts & Returns window above. You have to expand the chart back to April 6th to see the last high I Fund share price. I believe you have reason to be nervous. Another indicator I follow is the direction of the dollar as posted on http://www.ino.com. As long as the dollar is losing value, the I Fund will improve (assuming the foreign markets are up at least a wee bit that day). There are a lot of financial people indicating the dollar will continue down the next few weeks so the I Fund may very well continue up some more. But it does seem to be near its top, so stay vigilant. In my trading I try to avoid reaching for the top price before making a trade. That way I can stay focused on improving my ability to read market direction as opposed to squeezing pennies. And the last time I lost big it was because I did not IFT before the drop. This time even if I miss the top I will IFT to stop my account from dropping as it did back then. And King, this reply box is back to jumping as I try to complete this short entry. Thought you had that fixed.
