TZA/TNA and the market

For some reason this is the first time I have seen TZA negative (.65%) and the wilshire 4500 negative to neutral. Does that usually happen? Usually its always been one being the opposite of the other.

Although that is generally the case, TZA is not always the opposite of the W4500 (S) fund. From the explanation of the fund:

TZA Fund Summary
The investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, of 300% of the inverse (or opposite) of the performance of the Russell 2000® Index

TZA will perform 3x opposite of what the Russell 2000 (^RUT) does.

Are you planning on purchasing TZA any time soon?

I bought quite a bit when it was around 16.50 but had bought some acouple weeks ago when it was hitting 17.30ish expecting it to come down, but its taking longer than I planned and just watching now.

I bought some at $21.82 and then tripled down at $16.68. I too am expecting a pullback but all this talk of QEIII is making me nervous, not gonna lie.

21.82 ouch.... Yea this week is gonna be a big one with all the news but seems most are running to f/g funds along with setting up for quite a bit of shorts after this week.
