So what I don't understand is how to trade fast enough to make this an option. When I deposit money into coinbase it takes about 5 days for the transaction to process. I am trying to figure how to somehow deposit cash into a trading account that would be more instant for trading. I know it must be possible but seems complicated. I signed up for coinigy but having trouble figuring out how to do this.

you would need to use a credit card (which charges a slightly higher fee, but still cheaper than most exchanges)
you can either just purchase directly with a CC at 3.99% or you can use the credit card as a backer of your bank account until the transfer goes thru. Either way, this allows instant purchases...like 1 second transactions for ethereum
