Maybe it's a compilation of last 2 days of share price closings rather than yesterday's actual share price. Yesterday S Fund gain was 0.29%.

Thot about that but I thot I saw Tues. numbers compiled correctly on this site.
Also, what is up with 100 allocations, in a row, all moving to C Fund. That aint right either!

Yeah, my Fantasy account shows I am in the S fund (which is correct) but my TSP Balance accounts shows all my funds are in the F Fund (which is where I had it previously). These contradict each other.

Yep, the moves are mostly following seasonal.

As for the share prices, I'll send a note to King about it.

But why a day early? To buy low, or capture the "turn of the month" benefits. Do they know Fridays are most often down?

Not sure. There were a ton of moves to the G Fund yesterday. My guess is that folks believe that the I Fund is about played out for the short term, and want to move seasonally a day early.

I did mine today to make sure I was in C Fund at tomorrow's close. I waited until after 12pm. Since I'm so far west, 12 pm has already gone before I even get myself to a computer.

I couldn't find any thing specific to Fridays...Mondays, Wednesdays & Friday appear to have the most volatility: http://finance.zacks.com/day-week-volat ... -3009.html
Since Friday is the last trading day of the month...a spreadsheet for S&P last day of the month prices: www.cboe.com/micro/buywrite/monthendpricehistory.xls

I did some research a few years back. This website started my thinking on "Day of Week" patterns. Date written was 9/21/2015, and it was only one year. A good programmer could run the data, over a long haul and tell us for sure.
http://www.schaeffersresearch.com/conte ... buy-stocks
"Are Fridays really that weak, or am I imagining it? Here's the average and median returns of each day of the week this year in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY). Prices are adjusted for the quarterly dividends."

"How about a little fun with numbers? Let's say you started five separate Day-of-the-Week Funds. The fund buys the previous day's close, and sells that day's close. That is, the Monday Fund buys the Friday close, and then sells the Monday close; the Tuesday Fund buys the Monday close, and sells the Tuesday close; et.

So Wed/Thurs are the best times to be in the market...since the Fed announcements come out on Wednesday, this correlates with the studies that say more earnings if you buy (low) at close on Monday (day before meeting begins & sell (high) on the day after the Wednesday announcement (close on Thursday).

With IFTs to C, it might be appropriate to mention that the day of the week effect and FOMC meeting for May is 2-3. This suggest a wait to Monday May 1 before submitting. :?
