Not really about TSP.. but about my wife's retirement plan

Post by managingts »

My wife works at Booz Allen and she has what's called Employee's accumulation plan. Right now, her YTD return is 7.14%. My TSP return right now is around 14.34%. I'm trying to do some seasonal strategy but her plan is not like TSP where you can do ITFs and the ITFs will go through this business day or the next depending on if you put the IFTs before the cut-off time.

I don't know what her ITFs options are. I was wondering if you guys know of any retirement plan that have the same ITFs options/opportunities like ours. It's hard to do seasonal strategy on her plan right now because the customer service is not always the best when it comes to responding to questions.

Thanks.

Since you don't know what her investment or IFT options are, I can't really tell you if I know of a similar plan or try to offer any advice. Not enough information.

what are her investment options?? There may be options in her plan that are close to the TSP. Gotta give us a bit more.

If you can list out what funds are offered by her plan then a lot of people should be able to help come up with something!

research the fund options she has and compare them to the ticker or ETFs they follow, similarly to (for example) how F fund tracks AGG closely, or C tracks SPY

i know Vanguard offers good ETFs like VOO and VTI

Those who 'abjure' violence can do so only because others are committing violence on their behalf.
