A while back
I postulated the question are TSP Participants moving the market with their IFTs? Everybody said no. Now, with more Gamers using the success of high achieving leaders and reviews of charts indicating past market seasonal direction I wonder if we in fact do move the market. Today, with so many IFTs to the C Fund makes me wonder if the 1400 or so fund readjustment cycle will suddenly show a positive close for the C Fund, and perhaps the S Fund as well. Interesting.
Re: A while back
I would think that all TSP users would then move the market because the funds are based primarily on the market. Dividends on the other hand would have an impact...

I don't know about all that, Cron, but your new system is doing quite well. What's it called, "Navig8tor, one day L8er"?

How many millions do you think it takes to move the market?crondanet5 wrote:I postulated the question are TSP Participants moving the market with their IFTs? Everybody said no. Re: A while back
These days not as many as you might think. Volume is low. Now let me ask you a question. Why are so many Gamers IFTing to the C Fund when it is not doing well?
Re: A while back
1. A couple of the Monthly Seasonals are in C this Month and maybe they got a late start. TSP was down on Tuesday.crondanet5 wrote:These days not as many as you might think. Volume is low. Now let me ask you a question. Why are so many Gamers IFTing to the C Fund when it is not doing well?
2. More than a few of the Daily Seasonals go into C within a few days of today.
3. Tomany's pull is up finally. That looks like a bottom?
4. TSP Guru went to C.
5. Right Shoulder forming?

Oops... I guess I assumed all those were for C thinking it was the big winner of the transfer board today. But yes.... S is the place to go apparently...

I know TSP is all a "Game" to you Cron, but do you have any money in a small cap fund anywhere?

Yes. And I use a professional manager who uses NDX to make daily changes in investments as a test to how my IFTs work. So far the professional manager is beating me hands down.
Good to hear from you Tommie. Will you be IFTing soon?
