2018 Finishing on a high note?

NAFTA 2.0 was signed and now a trade-war truce was agreed upon at the G20 summit between China and the US over the weekend. Currently the S&P 500 futures are up 2.3%...Could these be the winds the bull rides on into 2019? Let’s hope so and happy investing ya’ll!!

I'm in DoD, and no word about it yet for us. Even if it were the case, the unit I work for is undergoing a once-every-3-years inspection that runs 5 - 7 Dec, so it's unlikely we'll be closed.

I think it will be temporary. I moved my money from C to F and G last Thursday and almost moved back into the market after reading about the news on Sunday. However, I decided to stay out with 75% F and 25% G after checking how people reacted to a similar situation in May. The market went up for the weekend and went back to being as unpredictable as the 1st Twitter.

Seems to be a similar pattern that we’ve had all year long: good gains one day, wiped imout the next my marginal news. Today’s headline of trade deal doubts has futures lower

Every 3rd Tuesday of the month) there's an Investment Club (DC Area Day/Swing Traders Meetup Group) that meets @ La Madeleine Bakery & Cafe, 7607 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda, MD. Maybe we can start gettin' everyone from our area in there, goin' forward, to (both) socialize & help augment our Investment Strategies... Just a thought!!!

This is a garbage year. There is not a rhyme or reason for some of these mood swings.
S is looking at -3% today.
