I’m right behind you. (70% C, 30% I). I ran to G in the last trading day of June (after some good earnings) and now I’ll be out of IFT’s already. Hopefully I can ride out a couple of weeks and make some gains.tyler3535 wrote:I made the move yesterday to the C fund, like everyone else it seems. Cringed when I hit submit because for the first time this year I feel like I’m chasing the market, and yea we’re going to have a pullback sometime this month. I wish I was already all in to start the month. Now I’m down to one IFT left and can def see myself sitting on the sidelines in the G mid July. And with today’s market, and the Fed decision, that might be a bad place to be if things bounce back towards the end of the month.
When you made the interfund transfer of your then balance into C Fund, that only affected what you had in the TSP at that time. It remains there until you say otherwise.tyler3535 wrote:Hey guys, general question here. If I’m 100% in C with my interfund transfer, but 100% S with my contribution allocations, how does that work??? Where does that money go once I buy the S?

Your contribution allocations (along with any automatic and matching funds) will go into the S Fund, until you say otherwise.
So as of now you have part of your holdings in C and part in S.
