In their "about" section:

He has covered federal employee and retiree news for over 30 years in a variety of capacities. In addition to flagship publications – the Federal Employees Handbook and the Retired Federal Employees Handbook – Don has written and edited over two dozen publications on pay and benefits, retirement, financial and estate planning.

It is a ".com" not a ".gov" site. It is primarily a news and opinion operation. If you don't like it, simply unsubscribe.

These days it is wise to view anything written as false. Do the math.

Not following your line of reasoning. Please explain what you mean?

Maybe it was purposely designed as a circular argument? (Think chicken and egg.)

A "do loop". 8-)

I think it was a play on your words. You stated ".. it is wise to view anything written as false" and yet your words are written down.

Subsequently - leading to a cranial paroxysm.

If what you wrote is true, Cron, then what we are to do is believe that it is false.

If it's false, then maybe we can believe it to be true. But then if true, we should not take it as true, since it's written.

But if we don't want to take it as true, we can take it as true.

Perfectly circular, a logical trap.

Ah, rajah. Interesting. I believe the word flummoxed could be used in a sentence here.

Sorry Jedi, did not mean to disrupt the intent of your post. If the article points toward tariffs increasing consumer costs to Americans for goods no longer manufactured in America we might see 50% of the value of our TSP Accounts lost to purchase what we want or need. I do know I will never buy another Whirlpool product after they refused to solve a problem with dry clothes in a completed wash. I will pay for a foreign washing machine that does the job right next time

Not joking at all when I say this...I have a brand new Whirlpool washer that has the exact same issue. Just initiated a service call on it last week.

Okay,

These days it is wise to view anything written as false + Do the math = These days do it is wise to view anything the written as false Math

Is that right? Is my math correct?
