I voted early! I even heard they are giving out free pizza to some places in the case of long lines.

According to a new CNN Poll the Democrats continue to hold a double-digit lead over Republicans in a generic Congressional ballot among likely voters.
Makes you wonder, is it more fake news. Or is CNN really closet conservatives? Saying, No need to vote, we already won".

Hey man!

This was in Maryland, and some polling places in Arlington. It was some pizza shop advertising for it. That does indeed encourage people to the polls, and all the free rides/whatnot. Just vote early, and you don't have to be bribed lol. As for the polls...we see how that worked out in 2016, I refuse to believe any polls.

Polling should be taken with a grain of salt because many conservatives view pollsters as leftist shills working on behalf of the dems and as such, ignore them at every given opportunity. We'll see if that plays out like it did in the presidential election.

I agree with Billionair & Xamotomax...you can't count on the polls these days  Hard to tell what is real or not in the news Tomany! 1/3rd of the registered voters took advantage of early voting here.

Some takeaways from the election: Democrats did take control of the House. However the party did not upset the Senate’s Republican majority.

And the market must have had these expectations priced in. (pre-markets at 6:30am EST, S&P up about 1% and Nasdaq 100 Futures at +1.15%).

In the news department, I found this interesting: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opin ... oses-again

“Consider, of the three competitive races that Obama re-emerged from (quasi) private life to try and whip, all three lost.
Andrew Gillum, Sen. Bill Nelson, and Stacey Abrams were all supposed to be in unbelievably tight races. In the end, they all finished behind their Republican opponents (Abrams could still just barely make a runoff, but it doesn't look good) despite Obama taking the time to rally for them.”

Good Morning All,

I'm sure we can all agree that the political texts/calls are finally over. Some good news...

Looks like we are going to see a great day on the Market. As for DC, well, it's the same. I'm glad my home state of Florida brought it home. Income tax would be devastating!

Yea Florida had to overcome some fake news attempts by MSNBC. They had Democrat Andrew Gillum leading the GOP’s Ron DeSantis by six-tenths of a percentage point with 99% of the ballots counted.

MSNBC is winning the FAKE NEWS CONTEST so far
The truth is, Ron DeSantis Defeated Andrew Gillum in the Florida Governor's Race.
