Current Market Outlook
The Current Market Outlook shows market momentum based on an Industry source and the TSP Center Community.
- Updated in real time, following the market outlook posted daily at a leading financial publication. It is based on a computation of distribution days (days where the market falls more than 0.20%) on greater than average volume. If the major indexes suffer more than 5-6 of these in a short span of time (30 day period), it is a signal that institutions are selling and headed for the exits.
- Updated each week, the TSP Center Data Call calculates market outlook using a simple formula based on TSP Center % bull/bear sentiment and associated spread.
In order to increase the confidence in the Data Call and to encourage input from members that are considered astute enough in economics to make a rational objective decision, we will eventually limit participation to those FantasyTSP members who have demonstrated investment excellence by achieving 'X' return over 'X' time period.
