Dont fight the market, we are not at irrational exuberence yet.
Let the market show its hand before leaving. Drop below the 50DMA or if you are more patient 100 or 200DMA. Until then, ride the wave.

Re: flight23's FantasyTSP Account
Move to the S fund was a poor choice, taking hopefully a small loss and running to G until this crap is sorted out. Once it is, long term S/I.

Re: flight23's FantasyTSP Account
Move from the I fund to the S fund yesterday should pay off nicely today. I expect tonight the I fund return will be negative and S fund will be +1%.
Question is... what will Monday bring, next week is going to be volatile.

Re: flight23's FantasyTSP Account
Futures tanking because economic data was good, expectation of Fed Taper rising, 10 year yields shooting up. I moved to I a few days ago because I has been underperforming relative to S, Europe is picking up steam, and I is mostly weighted to Europe and Japan. Risk may shift from US to Europe & ...

Re: Limit not 17.5k? (After-tax Traditional TSP Contribution
Couple of things being mixed up here. First, the $17,500 limit is not set by the TSP that limit is set by the IRS as the maximum EMPLOYEE contribution. The wording above regarding after tax contributions only refers to the plan itself, whether or not there is a Roth vs Traditional option as there is...

Re: Economic outlook review
Many have suggested that the "bond bubble" may be the last big bubble, and the biggest of them all. For a while I couldnt wrap my head around what the basis of that was but I think I have formulated an idea over the past year or two. The reason is, a bursting bond bubble is somewhat of a c...

Re: Increase revenues? Really, for what???
Your post itself was not political that was not my point. My point is often when there is a political debate you end up mocking or posting condescendingly towards whomever is on the left wing side of the debate and tell them to stop posting etc. Kuchekas point wasnt adding fuel to the fire it was po...

Re: Increase revenues? Really, for what???
What is a cheap shot is the annoying condescending tone you repeatedly take with people that disagree with your political views. When was the last time you took that type of tone with someone on the other side of the argument J? Never. I think Im probably out too.

Re: Increase revenues? Really, for what???
J are you trying to turn this board into just right wing supporters? As a moderator you really are doing a good job of trying to at least. All kucheka was pointing out was that your prior post implies ('meanwhile back on planet earth') that this conversation is irrelevant to reality. If you want thi...
